| Ms. Howard joined the firm in 2005. She is part of the Phifer & White litigation team developing specialties in insurance litigation, premises liability, and commercial litigation. She recently graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center where she was a member of the Barristers Council Appellate Division, the Black Law Students Association, and a Street Law Community Clinic instructor. As a member of the Frederick Douglas National Moot Court Team, she won first place in her region for oral arguments and an award for the best brief. She was also second place in the nation in competition. As a law student, Ms. Howard clerked at Mehri & Skalet, LLP of Washington, D.C., and the District of Columbia Public Defender Sevice. Ms. Howard graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a cognate in Women’s Studies in 2001. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan. |
